My mum got a bunch of people £5 lottery scratch cards as little Christmas gifts. One person won £5

A large lottery win would be the end of me. I can barely control myself as it is.

Lottery tickets anyone?

Anyone else indulging in this for NY?

Not a superstitious person and is the first time I am buying tickets.
Woke up with a memory of my father ferrying me across the local market to a lottery office.

Guess my brain finally got accustomed to the idea that I won't realise anything spectacular in this life and I should join the plebs in believing in 1/1mil events and drowning my sorrows in drinking...

I'll give it this one so here goes my £8.
