I took mine a few weeks ago, not because I don't see the markets continuing to rise, but my profits were large and the picture is more complicated now, especially the currency risks (unless you're using a hedged ETF, for example). That decision may end up looking unwise if there's a no deal brexit (i.e., Sterling tanks). I doubt I will stay out very long - will probably increase short-term exposure again in the new year and I have long-term exposure via a SIPP (but that is set-and-forget).
