    Not totally certain but income protection possibly not - it is a personal benefit after all - but illness cover is. You really should be looking at key man insurance anyway.

    However there are potential pitfalls to both around taxation. Get some informed advice first.

    Medical Insurance / Income Protection via a LTD company

    I am looking at taking both out, any advice welcome.

    It would be around £100/month to take both policies

    Income Protection upto £2,500/month
    Medical would be full cover excluding any existing conditions.

    Are they legitimate business expenses?
