This is not a Brexit post because we left the EU in January.
The upshot is, the UK has offered a worse deal trading with Japan and the EU has a much better deal. The reason is obvious, the UK is too weak desperate for a deal and it is no secret to Japan.
That will teach the Japanese not to mess with the UK over 100k worth of blue cheese exports.
