Well, as much as I don't see the bitcoin reaching a 6 digit level by next year, you still have to admit that the ones who believed in it in the early 2010s hit gold.
Now, if we're to compare the cryptocurrency rush to, for example, the colonial era, it's like waking up in 1935 and deciding to either watch the ones who invested/colonised in time while being jealous, or to try and buy one of the more recent, less famous, more risky/worthless cryptos, which would be the equivalent of Italy trying to colonise Ethiopia, only to get their hindquarters kicked by the locals.

Total nonsense. I have a USD account with TransferWise and it was a piece of cake to create. You’re probably flagged.Originally posted by scooterscot View PostTransferwise only works if there is someone on the other side of the transaction. I tried setting up a US dollar account not long ago on TransferWise - what a joke - gave up in the end. US identity checks etc, what's the money for? etc. What's your inside leg measurement - that's none of their business.

Transferwise does it in about 24 hours with a decent rate?Originally posted by helen7 View PostIt takes a day or so for you bank card transactions to be confirmed.
International transfers are ridiculous. Try moving 100k between UK and NZ and see what fees the banks want to charge you (and the tulipty exchange rate they give)

That's a nice round figure.
Why not $1,000,000?
It truly attracts the elite fooktard among the wider fooktard niche.
