Used to work with a Sales Manager called Mr De'ath. He would invariably answer the phone in his deep bartione with the immortal (or inevitable) line "Death speaking..."
-
De'Ath comes to us all
In memoriam of Wilfred De'Ath fraudster, convict and columnist.
So.Farewell
Then Wilfred De'Ath
Every morning
In the bathroom Mirror
You stared
De'Ath in the Face
And in later years
You often looked
like De'Ath warmed up
Alas ! you found out that
De'Ath was the one person
You could not cheat
Leading to your ultimate Headline
Death of a De'Ath

I once read in Marie Claire,
Of a girl with a very large pair.
Alas it was fruit,
So while she was cute,
I didn't want to see her bare.

Marie Claire, you weren't a regular read
You won't be missed by me, you weren't a guilty treat
Maybe when the salons reopen folk will soon take heed
When all that's left is Tatler, Hello! and Heat
