This presumes that most retail traders follow a "strategy". Many of them do, but most of them get sidetracked by the effects of emotions into doing things differently.
Not that most strategies would work even if they were followed to the letter.
Also trading costs are a major cause of aggregate losses.

Based on Pooper's contrarian approach the sure fire way to riches is thus.
1 Find a trading strategy that only loses money. This should be a piece of piss as around 80% of retail traders lose money.
2 Trade the opposite.
So simple, why didn't I think of this before!
