I have switched away from LBC/Talk Radio because their output was 100% virus. Virus discussion can't fill the hours, so much of it is just needless conjecture and pointless, repeated processing and second guessing. That way lies madness. Or at least exhaustion.
R2 is cheerful and pleasant while while giving good health advice and reporting the latest news. Even when the news is terrible, it somehow feels better if followed by music and a friendly voice. Morale and all that.
Twitter, as usual, just amplifies everything, good and bad, up to number 11.

I like Radio 6 Music myself. I haven't put R4 on since Wednesday - no need for my alarm now I've finished at old ClientCo

I'm currently "singing" to Smooth.
When it repeats I will change station...

Update. Talk Radio has been quite calm and interesting this morning. Perhaps they are getting with the program.

Mostly listen to radio when I'm driving or sitting down in my greenhouse. BBC channels ought to be better as no adverts, but all the wittering on about trivia, what somebody had for lunch etc, is even more boring.
As for news, stopped watching it.
PS Probably like Chill or Smooth best but latter has rather limited repertoire .Last edited by xoggoth; 20 March 2020, 12:05.
