Well said Malvolio. It is also a small world and you never know when you may need to go to that client again.
It is indeed a small world - there's a surprisingly high chance that some of the people you may p*ss off (client, permies, other contractors, agent etc) will see your cv for another role sometime in the future and bin it.
Yes. Totally unprofessional, and probably the worse thing a contractor can do to a client. You have signed up to deliver a piece of work, so get on with it.
Not entirely correct - it's a support role (I'm a network kid), so I don't have any project deliverables as such. The trouble is, it's not a lot of work, and I'm slightly concerned that I'm missing out on far better contracts.
Plus I'm extremely bored where I am.
You're probably right though. May wait another 3 or 4 months and see how it goes
If you intend to make a career in contracting, the reputation you build up is key and will probably bring more moolah long term than if you're a fly-by-night spiv.

I started a 12 month contract about 2 months ago, and have now been offered a better paid contract elsewhere, and they'll wait my notice period.
Do you reckon it may look a bit tulip leaving so early?
