For many, marriage works out well. Do all you can to avoid divorce.

Mrs BP has told me to say my 2nd marriage is working out well. But to stop posting and get back to cleaning the oven.

Yep clean break is best even if initially the cost is > 50%. I left everything apart from personal stuff to achieve a clean break. Paid dividends later when I started conning, she tried to come for some of my new earnings and basically got told to PRO.

Get a woman who is sexy. A woman who is kind. A woman who is a good housekeeper. A woman who is good with children.

Then make sure these women never meet.

Get married, she goes contracting, then you get half.

That makes no difference to the money.

    ----
Definetly start a new company. The more distance you put between you and her the better.

With kids that old, assets will be split 50/50(can I do the old give half to the lawyers joke?). However your wife can expect a reasonable income(even 50% of take home) for life.

Ancillary relief is a very complex area of law. Divorce and child access can be done without a lawyer. But you will probaby need a lawyer. I would suggest asking what she wants. If you can get a clean break settlement (all assets, no income) all the better. Remember that if she gets 1p a year, it can be varied. Clean break cannot be.

Feel free to PM me. Though don't make it too long. I am currently between bans but never sure how long that will last. And admin requires an increasing amount of grovelling to let me back.....

    started a topic Divorce

    Divorce

Not sure if it’s the right place but has anyone been through this?
My wife is a shareholder and director but doesn’t have another job.

Is it too painful to continue the “ltd co” model for money or is it better to make a clean break and just pay her out of ongoing money?

I don’t want to see her struggle, both kids are grown up (ish - in uni ).

    Any advice welcome
