    I put a deposit down on a Model 3 when they announced the car. I don’t have a build slot yet but not realistically expecting my RHD UK-spec version until mid 2020. I might ask to transfer the deposit to a Model Y though, having seen the launch last week.

    Yeah but you have to put 1k deposit down if you are interested in it and then I'm not sure when the 35k model is out in the UK and if its 35k.

    If i knew a date when it was out and the end cost would probably buy one now.

    If you haven't test driven the car, you can return it for a full refund within 7 days or 1,000 miles, whichever comes first.

    Tesla Model 3, anyone?

    I'm seriously thinking of getting the Model 3 when it's out in the UK. I would put down a deposit now if I knew how much it's going to cost in the UK. Reports of basic model in US costing $35k but not sure what that will be in the UK.
