    We're polite company? Actually, for a good crack is to go along and watch Sankt Pauli. Rabid left wing football fans where the team trot out to Song 2 by Blur or Hells Bells. I've been a couple of times and its been rather enjoyable

    I've worked there a couple of times and been many a time. The city is actually pretty good:

    but while working I didn't get much chance to see it. The people I know from Hamburg are quite friendly and in some ways quite British. The Reeperbahn is a crack if you know where to go otherwise you'll get ripped off. Pretty bloody cold at this time of year though
