not as bad as dutch people who insist on reclining their seat fully for the entire flight, when they are sitting in front of you for 12 hours

My opinion is that you should make it clear whether you want to engage in conversation*, ignore*, or plot their demise.
*I have put these two options in, but never felt an inkling of desire for them.
