The trick to getting a contract is not to want it. I just signed on for three months for a really dull spec/test job. When asked, couldn't remember anything about the last similar job I has as it was so tedious I excreted all knowledge from my brain as soon as possible. Said I wasn't interested in more than three months as the work looked so dull I would rather have a lobotomy but they stil offered it too me. Must be even worse than I thought.

I’ve had it the other way round. Went for an interview but the client hadn’t a clue which candidate he was interviewing. Kept asking me questions to which I did know the answers which made me look even more than an idiot than normal. When I challenged him about it he said it was on my CV, but when he produced his copy he admitted he had never seen it before and he was just interviewing people on a list he had been given and never looked at the CV’s.

One Reason I Suck At Contracting....
Just got an interview for a direct position (not the DHL one - still keeping options open) and for the life of me I cannot remember what its for.
I remember applying to the company but I can't find the ad / application I put in.
