Save time. Assume ALL tax is wasted, ie approx 600 billion pa off top of head. Any errors resulting from this assumption will be negligible.

WTF - a quick calc. (and being generous) suggests that government waste is £500000 per minute, £30,000 is only a small fraction of the admin/collection costs.
