    You'll have to go potato picking for three months each summer in Ireland, or as a foreigner your Irish passport will lapse after a year!

    So while you are working hard and adding to the economy you'll be a good UK citizen. When we shut the borders and send everyone back home we can call on your Irish nationality to get you on the first plane out. Sounds like a win all round to me.

    Just dotted the i's and crossed the t's on m Irish Passport application, have a wobble as to what the drawbacks might be, no desire to go for SC/DV jobs anymore although assuming that's not a real problem anyway.

    (Main reason to have the additional passport is the house in Spain, already the local ayuntamiento is sniffing round the brits to see what they can squeeze out of them)
