Slough was an absolute doghole when I worked there in the mid 90's. The only way it could possibly have been improved since then is by following Betjemans advice. And then some. The good doctor has obliviously never been there then. I suspect that he's trawled his database of malcontented ex-employees and come to this conclusion. Mars have been there for many years so quoting that their HQ is there and therefore makes it a good place to work is more than a tad selective.Dr Andrew Chamberlain, Glassdoor's chief economist, said Slough is in a part of the country which offers "pleasant environments" meaning "an increased quality of life for employees".Leave a comment:
