in my sinple world I had hoped to use the method that I built my career on and copy and paste the document root from their domain to ours and change the logo

I was going to post that you just need to FTP in and then Ctrl A then Ctrl D but the chance is there that he might actually do it. Get back to the veg farmer Benes!
