Electric Cars - are they worth it? (potential tesla buyer)
Hello,
I am on the verge of buying Tesla - but before I do so, I want to make a deep research about electric cars in general so I started forum research, as I believe here I can find real opinions of real people.
Any of you guys have had any experience with EC?
I am concerned with range and repair costs. From what I have found in various sources decent EC guide here - https://www.startrescue.co.uk/breakdown-cover/motoring-advice/motoring-developments-and-the-future/the-electric-car-cheat-sheet--2017 - I will be able to drive 100-150 miles fully charged depending on the model.
Is it really that bad? Or in other words, do you think I will feel the difference?
Second concern, perhaps even more important - repair costs. I have seen guys saying they needed to pay like £9000 for a minor scratch - https://forums.tesla.com/forum/forums/insane-cost-repair-teslas-achilles-heel
I know this isn't exactly EC forum, but I am trying to collect as much information as I can. Any advice or comment regarding above issues would be appreciated."
