My impression of the white collar sectors (which most people in this forum will be working in) was that employers have to import workers from Europe, I don't see how reducing the supply of white collar workers would be bad for anyone on this forum.

You must be as thick as mince imagining economics theories prevailing and a massive oversupply of labour depressing salaries. The reality is that the UK is inhabited by cretinous chavs who aren't worth the minimum wage.
Only those that have moved abroad or are kept by their partners have the vision to understand the complex economics ruled by an organisation that can't get its account signed off for decades or forgot it had an Army.
We should be grateful to the the German & French for putting up with us. The only solution is to crawl back to them with our tail between our legs.
