1. The trade between EU27 and UK is a much bigger % of UK trade than it is of EU27 trade.
2. Disruption to imports is also important, not just disruption to exports.
So the UK's hand may not really be that strong.
As a hypothetical (and extreme view - but it's just an exercise to illustrate), if all trade between EU27 and UK stopped, who would lose most (out of the two parties - the answer 'Ireland' is not valid!)?
