A few, slightly more sensibly priced alternatives:

    Tide: https://www.tide.co
    Coconut: https://getcoconut.com

Coconut seems to still be in early stages, I've heard not heard of it before today - judging by the size of their development team I imagine they have some substantial financial backing.

Well I should have actually dug deeper before I posted this but you can't access the full website from mobile. It costs £25/month. I don't have nearly enough interest in their international account features to justify that sort of cost, I think I'll stick with HSBC at £5.50/month!

    Revolut Business Account

Anyone tempted to sign up? I might try the 30 day trial:

    https://techcrunch.com/2017/06/13/re...ness-accounts/

Might be especially useful for those who receive money from overseas clients. It lets you hold up to 25 currencies with no exchange rate fees/markup (anyone who has used Revolut for personal spending abroad will know how this works).

Online services look much better than anything traditional banks have to offer, open API, promising integration with accounting systems etc.

Working...
