Go on one of these comparison websites and then buy the policy via QuidCo, thats what I do every year and pay next to nothing once the cash back kicks in.

Got me affordable insurance when I was in my 20s. Saved me hundreds (no, I wasn't some spoiled Tory child whose parents snuck me on to their insurance, I paid for my own for the car I bought with my own money from working for it)Originally posted by VillageContractor View PostIs it actually worth doing this? Very true.Originally posted by squarepeg View PostNot all insurers list their deals on comparison sites. Shop around.
Direct Line you have to go to their website.
Also you should get a quote from GoCompare or whatever quote site, then go to the insurer's website yourself as you frequently get a better price.

Firstly you aren't a new customer so you don't get a new customer discount.Originally posted by AtW View PostGot quote direct from Admiral (current provider): £2500-ish, and after using GoCompare.com same Admiral quoted £1200 for same stuff
Secondly you are suppose to move insurance companies every year. Even moving to one of their different brand names within the group should give you a discount.
