Tories are the biggest scam going. Ever since they have come to power it has always been about austerity and cutting national debt. Now in their second term, they still are borrowing higher than Labour ever did and there is no sign on cutting public spending. Every month the borrowing increases with absolutely no benefit to the masses and you wonder who is actually benefiting from this.

At least with Corbyn in power, borrowing will be sensible and every penny borrowed will be poured into the public services like NHS, defense, education etc and people will see real value in what the country spends.

Its pretty black and white, vote the scum Tories in, you will see all the super wealthy become even more wealthy. Vote Corbyn in, you will see genuine rise in the quality of life of everybody in the country.

The Tories basically lower taxes, which means they have to rack up more borrowing than Labour, who actually try to balance the books with higher taxes.

This is all part of the Torie cunning plan to win with a small majority, necessitating a coalition with a remainer party, that allows them to pull out of the cluster that brexit will prove to be without Theresa losing too much face

Interesting but hardly surprising. The problem is if the Tories' (or in the US the Republicans') austerity was genuine and not illusory, and they really did save pennies and lower the national debt and so on, then they'd be laying themselves wide open to their opponents bribing voters with all kinds of lavish spending plans that they could afford with the resulting savings, and taking over that way.

It works the same in any democracy - Basically, for its own sake no party can be more prudent for long than the most extravagent left wingers. Otherwise, given the stupidity and gullibility of most voters, the left wingers will simply steal their opponents' lunch!

And they're whacking the Brexit effect on the plastic to stop Georgie Boy's Brexit austerity threat coming to pass.

It's basically a myth that the Conservatives has a better record on anything, whether that is trade, immigration, security or deficits.

There is no long term statistic you can pluck out to prove that.

The difference between Tory and Labour is simply that Labour tax a bit more and spend a bit more and the Tories puts the country in some perpetual state of emergency to justify cuts.

Fascinating watching people complain about austerity. What austerity?

I am sure Tories will say its mostly interest on the amount Labour borrowed. I say nonsense.
