Very bad manOriginally posted by original PM View PostWe were just having these conversations in the office.
I have no kids who need this nor do I plan on having any.
So apparently I am a bad man for not thinking this is a bad thing.
So I responded with the line that 'Sure I am happy to vote for other people's interests - as long as they are happy to vote for mine'
Strangely enough that made me an even badder man.

They've chickened out and removed it from current Finance Bill, no doubt it will make a comeback...

They can spin it how they want, it's a fecking shambles. They've made "strong and stable" the centrepeice of their campaign. May is woefully untrusting of anyone beyond Timothy and Hill, and this is what happens when you formulate your manifesto on the back of a fag packet with your besties. They better not approach the Brexit negotiations in this way.Originally posted by OwlHoot View PostNot necessarily. They can spin it as "listening to the people" or some such.
But a U-turn on this dementia tax does mean inheritance tax is likely to increase eye wateringly!
It also leaves them open to ridicule from such esteemed commentators as Gidiot, let alone Labour, who should be having a field day with this, had they any semblance of competence. Ultimately, I don't think it's going to change the outcome, but it makes them a fecking laughing stock. They're trying really, really hard to make me stay at home.
