See earlier comments on the CX-5, it's a far better car overall.

Don't get carried away with the apparent ruggedness of most 4x4s. If they haven't got a separate chassis, or are very heavy anyway (such as later Rangies and the big VAG ones like Q7 and Tuareg, they are just cars with a height complex. They will be equally good (or bad) at handing bad roads and off-road situations.

I'm not into tulipty Mazda cars, I thought it fitted the OP spec that's all.

I will stick with my 911 Turbo S thanks.

LR Disco's are huge, Disco Sports are the Freelander replacement and are ok. If you can wait and want to spend the money then the new RR Velar is lovely.

Personally I'd buy a car.
