I think we should take the opportunity to make "Nelson" the name of our Olympic mascot.
I want to see the coverage of Paris getting the verdict. It must be much better than seeing the London crowds.

Congratulations on winning in the race that seemed certain to result in Paris's win, which is probably why people in this country are particularly pleased.
I wonder how many actually considered that getting this "win" will result in significant cost burden on taxpayers: from what I have read pretty much all recent Olympics were anything but profit to the hosting nation.
Lots of publicity - true, but at a serious cost that will be measured in billions of pounds.

Just seen the coverage of the awarding of the contract to London on the six o' clock news. Whatever you might think of Tony Blair, it was a masterstroke of his to deliver his presentation to the IOC in French!
