    Jeremy Corbyn has attempted to reassure his MPs that vast polling gaps will close because Labour is doing well on social media.

    The Labour leader faced a barrage of questions at last night's regular meeting of MPs after yet another grim poll emerged, this time showing Labour 18-points behind.

    Pollster ICM has found a gap that large only three times in its history - two if which date back more than 30 years to the eve of the 1983 election.
