    To be fair he resigned, albeit when asked to. He will be investigated by the Gambling Commission and probably the FA (or the Sweet FA to give them their full title). He'll probably get himself a half decent agent and we'll see him on every crap reality tv show from now 'til Doomsday.

    God knows and they've been warned against it. IMO if they are stupid enough to do that and he eat's a pie just to poke them in the eye then it's their fault. Hope they lost a lot of money.

    The reserve goalkeeper admitted he knew Sun Bets were offering 8-1 odds on him eating the pastry prompting the Gambling Commission and the Football Association to look into whether the incident broke any rules.


    Resigns? He's probably retired if he's done it right!
