To be fair that might make them ever so slightly watchable for a change... for the first 20 mins or so.Originally posted by Mordac View PostTo be fair he resigned, albeit when asked to. He will be investigated by the Gambling Commission and probably the FA (or the Sweet FA to give them their full title). He'll probably get himself a half decent agent and we'll see him on every crap reality tv show from now 'til Doomsday.

Poor bastard. I feel genuinely sorry for the poor bloke. I am sure he'll make a pretty penny out of it though.

Plus he's only eating one pie. Which means that it can't be MF.

Could be the start of a new game - Where's MFy?Originally posted by northernladyuk View PostBut now that he's been banned from first class lounges, he must be getting sustenance from somewhere.
That said, he can't exactly hide behind anyone, even Sutton's ex-reserve keeper

No doubt the conversation was had with one of his mates - lump on lad, as soon as the third sub goes on, the meat and tater growler's coming out.Originally posted by northernladuk View PostGod knows and they've been warned against it. IMO if they are stupid enough to do that and he eat's a pie just to poke them in the eye then it's their fault. Hope they lost a lot of money.

Cos they have a sense of humour...Originally posted by saptastic View PostPie-eating goalkeeper Wayne Shaw resigns from Sutton Utd
Why on earth would a betting company offer odds on someone eating a pie?

Why on earth would a betting company offer odds on someone eating a pie?The reserve goalkeeper admitted he knew Sun Bets were offering 8-1 odds on him eating the pastry prompting the Gambling Commission and the Football Association to look into whether the incident broke any rules.
Resigns? He's probably retired if he's done it right!

Richard Wright has finally retired. Managed to get four years' pay from City without actually stepping on the pitch in a first team game for them.Originally posted by Mordac View PostTo be fair he'd be no worse than some of the keepers we've signed in the past...
Your keeper last night looked like he'd struggle to catch a cold.
