Pub opposite post office in the city, you get a ticket then nip in for a pint, you can see the countdown from the bar
-
Theres one around the corner from mine where there is never a queue and you get served 1st time.
I reckon they're for the chop soon.

My post office is incredibly slow. If i see a queue of 3 people I go home and come back another day.

I f****g hate post offices
Is it just me or is the average city post office run like something out of the Soviet union / Indian state railways?
Just had to get my passport verified (£10.50 ,thank you very much)
First you have to work out which queue to join to get your ticket because different services have a different numbering system.
For this you have to join a queue to ask someone.
Then, when I get to him he tells me I need a photocopy of my passport and they can't do it there but, surprise surprise, there's an Indian fellow round the corner who will do it for a charge. Another £1:50 another queue.
Then it's back to the PO again where I collect my ticket which tells me there are 32 people in front of me.
50 minutes this took. My whole damn lunch hour
Yes, - could have shown up with my own photocopy but I didn't know...Tags: None
