Unless your current rate is at least 15% over market rates or it is a really cushy number, I'd be in a flash.

Just been offered an extension until end of Feb, but there's an opportunity just come up on twice the rate, and commutable from home that I'd much prefer to take (if I cam even get a bl00dy interview there). Mind you I'm glad of anything I can get, after 3 years on "Plan B"

Two weeks to go for me. I was expecting to be twiddling my thumbs until next year, but I have what I think is a very strong possibility in the pipeline to start straight away. And it's back to my old rate too (took a 15% cut in April to get something ).

re-signed until end of Jan and the client has said they want me for at least 6 months after that !! Keep being asked to go for interviews, turned down a 70k perm job with benifits as its not right for me at the mo. Things are looking ok as far as I can see....

Got a gig until January next year...no permiedom for me, put down 50k offer last month. I'm thinking to have a break next year in February, not quite sure yet...
Anyway the market looks quite tulipe now in telecom in terms of number of contracts, not price.
Btw, how many of you would choose a contract abroad? I would like to dive into one next year, just waiting for the proper moment...
