Seen more than a few Telsas around Munich. Quite common now. It difficult to remain a petrol these days when Telsa are advertising 2.5s to 60mph.

Preventative health care at work. Keep people fit both physically and mentally, and it keeps healthcare costs down.

Socialism = totalitarianism and Cuba despite the virtues you mention was one of the world's poorest countries.

On another note at some point the conservatives will get above themselves and thus become over greedy, less accountable, less competent (just like the EU) and with no opposition will emerge into a self serving party like the ANC. The ensuing vacuum for the centre/centre left will be filled by a new political party. This could be UKIP but even though it is liked by the white working class it would need to align its politics more to the left.

Communism is differenet to socialism

And in some ways Communism works well - Cuba had a a really great eduaction system, great healthcare, limited crime
Obvioulsy the limitation is the lack of aspiration and choices!

Socialists try implement their ideology in a free market which isnt really workable.
