Better still have the overhead lockers locked before pushing back from the gate and when preparing the cabin for landing. Stops all the idiots standing up and trying to get stuff out the moment the plane has touched down.

It is only a matter of time before people die because of this and it is most likely going to be the poor cabin crew doing their job

That is spectacularly stupid behaviour, for it to have led to the death of a fireman rescuing them the ones identifiable should be shot (with an incendiary).

There was a death - a fireman lost his life. If the passengers had a more timely exit, the firefighters could have got involved sooner and possibly the life may not have been lost. Complete t0sspots.

They should look into retrospectively fining these passengers or ban them from travelling on that airline. It's only a matter of time, before such action can cause more damage than the actual crash.

Reading some reports on this, it seems they were all evacuated just in time before the fireball, can you imagine people trying to get their bags, holding up more people and the eventual tragedy !
