In the latest edition of Computer Weekly, the front page is all about the NHS Trusts trying to sue for compensation regarding failed and delayed implementations, only to be told, that they need the permission of the department for Health as the trusts have not signed the NPfIT contracts with the suppliers. The ministers have.

More behind schedule than over budget. The contracts seem to have been better handled this time and nobody gets paid till they deliver. So far expenditure has been minimal due to delays in delivery.
