    I was PM'ing someone on the immigration boards, he actually works for UKVI and he tells me the biggest abusers of T2 visas ARE the dodgy umbrellas that effectively and illegally is contracting. They are the current target.

    And also pre-selected candidates, ie dodgy schemes to get the brither-in-law in....

    Another one is the so-called Surinder Singh route; wnat to bring your brother/mother/couson/in-laws to UK? UK doesn't allow chain migration but SS route gets round it. Move to Ireland, bring family over as dependents under EU rules, move back to UK. UKVI blocking that one too now, though it's completely against EU law.

    Well there are. Short term ICT's aren't capped but there are still rules to follow and don't lead to ILR or any form of PR.
