Actually my colleague in the office today received 2 calls from agencies looking for more staff for the Börse to start shortly. I turned them down last year though but expect to receive some calls in the next few days

    Quite right too:

    Google says:

The German financial BaFin is after the "Proposed referendum on United Kingdom membership of the European Union" decision against London as the seat of a German-British exchange. "It is hard to imagine that the most important stock exchange is controlled in the euro area from a location outside the EU", the President of the Federal Financial Supervisory Authority (BaFin), Felix Hufeld said. "Since you will need to safely readjust."

Even in the grand coalition of the opposition to the merger plans of Deutsche Börse with their London rivals LSE grows with headquarters on the Thames.

"Since the UK adopted from the EU, the central stock exchange can not in London," said SPD parliamentary group in the German Bundestag Vice Carsten Schneider after media reports ( "Reuters"). "The future headquarters of the merged exchange has supervised and regulated by the EU are covered." Due to the withdrawal from the EU is also the main financial actors were better geared to Frankfurt: "London will become less important."

  • DOOM ALERT!! No London HQ for Deutsch Börse-London Stock Exchange after merger

    Oh dear...

In a huge blow to London, Germany has said the city could not host the headquarters of a planned European stock exchange giant after Britain's exit from the EU.
More to follow. The UK economy is so flocked.
