    Surely:

“If I can't dance to it, it's not my revolution.”
    Although she also said:

“If voting changed anything, they'd make it illegal.”
    Personally though:

“The most violent element in society is ignorance. ”

It was comical the way Merkel said "We don't particularly want to punish Britain for voting to leave", implying she doesn't mind punishing us a fair amount!

Germany's foreign minister Frank-Walter Steinmeier and his French counterpart Jean-Marc Ayrault today presented a proposal for closer EU integration based on three key areas - internal and external security, the migrant crisis, and economic cooperation.

But the plans have been described as an 'ultimatum' in Poland, with claims it would mean countries transfer their armies, economic systems and border controls to the EU.

German chancellor Angela Merkel says action is needed to prevent other EU members from leaving the bloc after Britain.
    How very democratic.
