Instabilty and uncertainty are a contractors wet dream. Companies take a short term view and don't want to commit but because of the changes there is a load of work. In short $$$$$$ (only for good contractors) the rest will tulipe it back to permiedom

You can see where it's going; destroy loads of good jobs and let the young go and pick strawberries or work in weatherspoons at 5 pound an hour. That way you don't need any immigration.
The only catch is the pensioners voting for this will see their pensions eroded-

I think it's probably further back than that but yes telling a generation to go get a useless degree and run up debt when they could have gone into a manual trade was pretty despicable.Originally posted by SueEllen View PostYou mean the Blair government? Could it be because we almost brainwashed a generation that manual work was not good enough?Originally posted by SueEllen View PostA lot of them think "leave" means immigrants leave.
Though strangely they don't want to work on farms picking crops, slaughtering and packing meat, etc

The sooner they come clean and say it's unfeasible to deliver what those voting for brexit wanted at the idealistic level, either due to the EU's inflexibility in accessing the single market, or because closing down immigration is just not workable on any non-fascist level, the sooner they can say 'ah well it was an idea but one we aren't going to follow up'.

There are no real brexiters in government. Even BoJo (I suppose it's a better acronym than BJOriginally posted by AtW View PostNo, now it's even worse - the economy is in the hands of Brexiters
) didn''t really want brexit.

Maybe, depending how strong our economy is by then in the hands of Gidiot.Originally posted by FatLazyContractor View PostSounds nice. Wouldn't it be the other way round though?
Apart from the lovely women the beer is cheap. Good for a holiday/trip but us brits just wouldn't want to learn the lingo for anything more permanent. The foreigners all speak English when it matters so we don't have to make the effort. That may change if the EU decide to punish us by all changing to Esperanto and refusing to acknowledge English.

My favourite is a Polish/Czech bride website where I can charge desperate men in the UK access to that lovely lot, as they'll all be desperate to come here once the EU border is closed.
