Budget about £100 - did the spend-lots-of-money thing for her 18th (including meal at the Hand & Flowers in Marlow - awesome experience, got tour of kitchen, previous MasterChef winner was working in there!)
I wanted to get something he could keep memories and travel are all very well but they will meld into a blurry fog in fifty years time... (and the lucky bugger got a nice watch for his 18th and his minted mum has his rolex in a safety deposit somewhere...)
(PS, also a fan of the H and F in Marlow, used to be my manor)
