Shoot Janet Street Porter - now that is the best idea I've heard all month!

As for that classic comment that she built the UK's first Digital studio. I well remember the documentary about Live! TV she was showing her knowledge of Anglo-Saxon words while insisting that programmes could be recorded in the office without specialist lighting - this hardly qualifies as building A digital studio, let alone the first. Given that Live TV no longer exists, having gone belly-up, it speaks volumes about her skills in that arena.

As for the website - what do you expect from a wannabe nobody

PS Anyone who describes themselves as a celebrity should immediately be barred from comment about anything since they have already demonstrated a monumental ignorance.

I, for one, wouldn't at all mind seeing some Eastern European journalists and presenters replacing the current bunch of meeja-establishment clowns.
Categorised nicely as "good if you buy swimming pools, bad if you build swimming pools".

You won't see that because they are emplyed by their own kind.

The killer line on that page - 'She wrote about design and architecture for the glossies at the same time: for Architectural Design, Design Magazine, Queen and Vogue'.

allah! - blessed be is his same so he doesn't kill me - she has a website like that and has made money out of lecturing people about design... sheesh....

    http://www.janetstreetporter.com/jsp_CV.html

Can anyone beat that? I have never seen one that comes even close to such astonishingly poor taste... and as for the woman herself:

    "Janet Says:

We are the superior sex, and should aim higher and be paid more than men. To me, equality is a backward step."

Not just ignored, but ridiculed and accused of scaremongering by NL - how many did they estimate before the last expansion of the EU? 13k. Useless feckers

Possibly. Still at least they're not discriminating by asking for "native speakers" only, in the way this lot do: www.google.be

"I could harldy believe my eyes. A chap who appeared to be bangladeshi and worked in local government highlighted the fact that many people he deals with day to day are losing their jobs to Polish who undercut them on wages...."

Presume you're talking about QT mcquiggd. Usually watch it, though these days I find most of the audience, let alone the panel, to be on some other planet.

Funnily enough last week it was a Sikh who seemed to be the only one making any sense, while the rest agreed with the fully veiled, new converts to Islam, feminists in the audience.
