No, are you referring to bribes (international aid) that UK defense industry was using to sell stuff to 3rd world countries or something entirely different?Originally posted by SueEllen View PostYou've not worked in the defence industry have you?
Crime like fraud, murders happen in every country, it's not same as corruption - it would be corruption if it is possible to pay off court or prosecution not avoid goong to jail, or police when it stops you drunk or tax office to close eyes on tax evasion - this sort of thing does not happen in this country - on a systemic level.Last edited by AtW; 11 May 2016, 23:37.

Sort of thank you Mr Cameron for pointing this out , no we don't want an apology but can we have our money back that the previous naughty people you are referring to squirreled away in your banks please?
If PM on R4 is anything to go by all you need is a plastic umbrella and you can accidentally eavesdrop on all sorts of gems
A shame the cameraman didn't review his material first then we would be none the wiser or perhaps we would whilst he would have got a much better price!

Those countries do the "under the counter" bribery kind of corruption where as the corruption in UK is over the counter type.
