I don't see Giggsy as a good option at all. By all accounts he is a divisive character - a right little

Me too mate, thought it would happen earlier but somehow even my club imaged to lose 180m quid 15 years without anyone seemingly noticing....

The typical supporter nowadays is only going to ever be happy if there are in the top one, may hang on if top four, if none of those it's bye-bye, something else.

The proper real core support has been priced out long ago, I don't think I've been to Wanderers since 2007, and prior to that sporadically. Home and away 1973 till 1986. Managed 57 of the old 92!

I know a guy called Pete who goes everywhere with FC. I went for the first couple of seasons, some good afternoons but it's just not the same. I'd never heard of over 6,000 in Gigg Lane before

It was real good fun for first couple of seasons, really good atmosphere, football was decent quality for the level(bit boring when we were smashing teams 6-0 week in week out...) but it's changed a lot.

There are some there using the club to promote their own agendas like LGBT/anti facists/etc..

As for big Utd, I'd get Pochettino, however he would probably see this as a sideways(if not backwards!) step, or even Pellegrini. God forbid Mourhino, he's just a younger more arrogant LVG for me.

Stopped going and paying any coin to watch when Glazer came along but still follow.

Absolutely shocking the decline in the standard of fare! I blame Robbie, the bitter utd reject, Savage for thay old pony about Giggsy getting it.

Who in their right mind would give the job of managing one of the top 5 biggest clubs in the world, to a trainee manager? Effing nuts.

They really are in a bad place now, cITY are gonna dominate for a while now I reckon. Think we will become the new scousers struggling behind, hoping for fourth for years now.

On a positive, going to watch FC United play AFC Fylde at our own ground on Saturday.

I gave up my season ticket when the Glazers took over; perm at the time and the 24% increase in ticket plus the ACS couldn't be justified. I'd paid £551 in my last full season and my cousin ended up paying about £1100 in 07/08 because of the price rises and ACS!

It was a dreadful performance from Man U, and 4-0 would have been a fair reflection of the game

Giggs taking over is just foolish thoughts.

Only hope is Jose coming in and spending the sort of money LVG has had - that would push you close to top 4 again
