It's almost like we vote people in to make these decisions for us.

In 1975 UK voted to join the common market. Somewhere over the next 40 years we ended up being part of some mammoth dictatorship which has done the UK no good. Without a vote.

Now we are expected to vote to stay in - due to it being too difficult to get out. Sounds like marriage really.

No vote after Maastricht - a simple "Do you want to give up your sovereignty - yes or no" would have been nice.

I blame the beggars in Wolverhampton.
