    I'm 'elite' apparently but would really call myself 'middle class / chav' ... my neighbours love me and my 3000 tasteful (not) xmas lights.

    it seems to be to do more with who you socialise with. CEO, Teacher, Nurse etc.

    I only put down entertaining at home we only do a few theatre trips a year and they are frequently pantos.

    This is the wealthiest and most privileged group in the UK. According to the Great British Class Survey results, lots of people in this group:

    Enjoy high cultural activities such as visiting museums and listening to classical music
    Went to private school and elite universities
    Socialise with people who do a wide variety of jobs
    How true !
