I loved Toad unfortunately we have an Architecture group and if its not on the Bricks then SMS rats on you.

Oh... sql developer has always sucked. Last time I used oracle I used Toad. worked nicely enough.

You wouldn't realise you needed a Bilge bung until you were half way around Cape of Good hope.
Every time you wanted a new set of cutlery you & your bank would need to lube up. If you buy the wrong set then the yacht would sink.

Microsoft would make a speedboat the same size for a tenth of the cost with no requirement to do multiple courses to get the damn thing to start.

I'm patiently just waiting for the software vendor, I specialise in, to punt it out the door.

In the end, after the wife and kids have left me, alone, for the week, I shouted at everything else, kicked my lap top across the floor, made Baboon noises, then reinstalled with latest tool, rebooting multiple times was also required.

This sort of thing really pisses me off. Anything remotely open-saucy and you end up spending a week trying to track down and set up all the dependent projects it needs to run which usually involve several trips to github, figuring out how to compile a language you've never heard of, and translating someone's linux build instructions into something that'll work in the real world. No telling me the apt-get command line doesn't help me thank you very much.

actually I'm finding that has got much better recently. I don't have to search google for hours every time I use O/S stuff now. But as its free I kind of understand.
