I pass the outskirts of Swindon when I cut across the country via Aylesbury and Oxford, and if I'm not very careful or if there is a diversion I manage to get lost in the maze of roads.Originally posted by DimPrawn View PostSpending an hour+ commuting just to arrive in Swindon. Life can be harsh.
What was it that poet said? "there's no there there"

Boom
Landed a 6 month contract, less than 10 mins cycle from my house. No more 1+ hour Swindon commute! Hurrah!
I will actually get my life back.
Not sure how to feel about 6 months though as I have always preferred very short contracts so I can have a break in the middle. I guess it'll fill the warchest for some summer shenanigans next year though
