Sarah Berra, of Sumter, South Carolina, shot a photo showing a tall, anthropomorphic creature with red eyes, long tail and claws
A day earlier, August 1, Jim Wilson reported sighting of similar-looking creature near Scape Ore Swamp
In May, another local man recorded video showing a dark figure with tail darting into the woods in Bishopville, South Carolina
First Lizard Man sighting took place in 1988 when a 17-year-old claimed a tall, scaly monster charged at him and clawed his car
