I think it's a modern version of the cops "finding" a packet of coke in the pocket of your jacket that was hanging up in the hall. Easy way to fix up someone they suspect of doing something but have no proof of.

I believe kiddie porn can easily be put on anyone's computer without their knowledge. I don't know how we can protect ourselves against such a ploy.

I love all the cut and pasting from the news websites. Like we should believe what they say. We'll never know the real truth so get on with your lives I say...

Rather supports my view and the only sane one - whatever race, nationality or creed you are, there is only one enemy - the bastards at the top! If we automatically shot anyone who aspired to be a milk monitor at school all world problems would cease.

No charges for Forest Gate victim

Abul Koyair, 20, and his injured brother Mohammed Abdul Kahar
Mr Koyair and Mr Kahar were released without charge
The Crown Prosecution Service has advised police not to bring child pornography charges against a man shot during a terror raid in Forest Gate.

Mohammed Abdul Kahar, 23, was shot in the shoulder by police at his east London home on 2 June.

He and his brother Abul Koyair, 20, were later released without charge.

Mr Kahar was subsequently arrested on suspicion of making pornographic pictures of children, which his solicitor said he "strenuously denied".

Police said computer and electrical equipment had been seized during the search of Mr Kahar's house and passed to the Child Abuse Investigation Command for further examination.

On Friday a Crown Prosecution Service (CPS) spokesman said 44 indecent images of children had been found in the memories of a Dell computer, an external computer hard-drive and various mobile phones.

It can be a recognised defence to making an image if a person comes into possession of material that is unsolicited and/or unwanted and quickly deletes that material

Of the total, 23 had been "embedded" images - which could have been inadvertently downloaded on the back of other computer files - and 21, on the external hard-drive and a Nokia 3G mobile, had been "deleted".

The spokesman said: "To transfer to the phone, the suspect would have to have specialist knowledge.

"There was no evidence that Mr Kahar had possession of, or access to, equipment or the technical knowledge to do so."

Also no news about raids like this having to be cleared by a number of "senior" muslims either.

Whatever happpened to that (alleged) terrorist shot in Forest Hill....

    <PEDANT MODE>It was Forest Gate, not Forest Hill.</PEDANT MODE>

I read this thread for a while thinking that I hadn't heard of an incident in Forest Hill, before realising what was going on.

For people living outside London these are two places just down the road from each other. For people living in London they might as well be in completely different countries.

    What do you think

    Quotes from the Gaurdian

"The officer who fired the shot which hit Mr Kahar was wearing two pairs of gloves as protection. The officer, known as B6, suffered a loss of sensation in his trigger finger and was unaware that he had fired the shot, a senior police source with knowledge of the case told the Guardian."

    and

"During the raid computers were seized at the house in Forest Gate, with images of child pornography on one that Mr Kahar is alleged to have had access to."

    So what do you think?
Doesnt look like they have a very solid case do they? I
f they can muzzle the Kahar's with 500 000 Taxpayers £ what do you think they would do?

So yes, I reckon very quietly they will compensate Mr Kahar for his "inconvienience" proably with a reminder that should he choose to air his greivences with the press that the kiddy porn charge "may" just gain a bit more substance.

Bu I am being paranoid again
