I do notice that the last two replies are from people who can't afford/can't be bothered with/are congenitally opposed to avatars. CUK please remove them, they are probably Romanians turned up early.

Originally posted by MarillionFanI went for a remortgage yesterday on my house to get some extra cash to pay for my new shop. All was going well for 40 minutes. I had told her it was for commercial, we had agreed I would borrow 70k at 5.4% and then she went to check with her boss.
Who turned it down!!!!!!!
Nothing to do with the fact I could afford it. Oh no. It was because I used to the word 'commercial' as opposed to 'residential' when discussing the property. If was a second home, then no problem, or home improvements or a car or anything else but 'commercial' no problems. I could even have spent 70k on a holiday!!!!! The ****ers wouldnt even let me change my mind.
They were never even going to check!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!1
Now they wont let me remortgage for anything. FFS!!!!
Many times I’ve change my mind about the purpose for loan after I received it.
Another no no is fees for litigation, but holidays are fine
